I'm Claudine and I live in Folkestone with my husband Oli and two children. We feel very lucky that we get to live by the sea in such a friendly and creative community.
When I found out I was pregnant, I experienced a mixture of emotions- excitement, joy, disbelief and fear! The dawning realisation that the baby was going to have to come out one way or another and the thought of this was terrifying.

After burying my head in the sand about the whole get the baby out thing, I had a conversation with a friend who had recently given birth. She spoke so positively about her experience and she attributed this to her hypnobirthing classes.
I had not heard of hypnobirthing before and was definitely quite sceptical about the name but decided it was worth a try.
That decision certainly paid off. It turned an experience I was terrified of into one I was actually excited about. I felt so much more prepared, I had a better understanding of what my body was capable of and felt ready for the challenge that lay ahead.

It was such a transformative experience, that I decided I wanted to train and teach myself. My classes take elements from hypnobirthing but also include mindfulness, sports psychology and neuroscience.
I feel passionately about every birthing person's right to have an informed and positive birth experience, regardless of what actually happens on the day.

I am so excited to be part of this journey with you.
